Smart people really do think faster
(from NPR smart people really do think faster)
The issue about the story is the linkage between the brain and the intelligence. The study suggest that people inherited the ability to think quickly. The greater the structural integrity, the faster you think. That is, Smart People really do think faster, who is efficient at processing information and making desicion.
However, there are two question. The first is, are the so-called smart people intelligent in all of the fields? The more society difficiated, the less possible people can know everything. I think the smart people who inherited ability to think quickly just perform this ability at certain field. I mean they can do better than other people who are in the same field.
The second is, the study gives the reason why some people can think quickly that whose brain have the greater instructural integrity. Therefore, I want to know how to get the great instructural integrity. In the story, professor say that the more you work out, the more you can change and improve your brain speed nad intelligence. I agree this arguement because I think the ability to process information associated with the mental structure and knowledge based. Sociologists discussed the formation of knowledge and argued that the origional of knowledge is from society. In other words, my point is that the ability to think quickly is not inherited but learning by working out.
